Cloud Dough Recipe

This simple recipe will make a cloud-like dough that you will love to touch and knead.   This can be used for a lot of different projects, it’s so versatile.  

Ingredients

1 cup baking soda

1/2 cup cornstarch

3/4 cup water

Making Cloud Dough

1) Mix your baking soda, cornstarch, and water in a mixing bowl.

2)  Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat until the mixture becomes thick – like mashed potatoes.

3)  When the mixture reaches the right consistency, transfer it to a plate and flatten it a bit to allow it to cool down.

4) The dough should be cool to the touch, then knead the dough a bit before setting it up for your project whether rolling out with a rolling pin for cookie cutters or hand building.  I can’t get enough of the feel of this dough.  Truly a joy!
